As part of a greater IDEXX rebrand effort, I was responsible for two major parts, identity and packaging. After an extensive exploration of logo ideas, a decision was made to clean up the original. Below is the final version of the refreshed identity and examples of the new brand applied to many of their equipment and supply packagings.

Packaging System
These two templates were designed to simplify applying all the brand elements onto each package in a consistent manner, regardless of box size and shape. The left template was for box art that had product photography on the front or top. The right template was for smaller packages such as the LaserCyte CBC5R Test Kits that had no product artwork and required a narrower band of dots to allow for more room on the front for the product name and description.
This is an example of the template for smaller box art applied to the flat, production-ready artwork.
